CONTAINED

The Big Grass Fire has burned 390,899 acres and is currently 39% contained (as of August 6).

It has devastated ranches, grazing land, miles of fencing, and livestock infrastructure across Owyhee County. These families need our help now!

The Owyhee Cattlemen's Heritage Foundation is a 501(c)(3)nonprofit organization and all donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

Every dollar donated goes directly toward helping ranchers recover.

Funds will be used to assist with expenses such as:

  • Fencing materials

  •  Purchasing hay

  •  Securing temporary grazing leases until burned pastures recover

  •  Possible livestock trucking costs

Every donation large or small will make a meaningful difference. Your generosity helps protect not only livelihoods but also family ranching operations that have been built over generations. Ranching is more than a job it's a way of life. Together, we can help these families rebuild what the fire has taken and preserve a way of life that is vital to our community. Thank you for your generosity, your prayers, and your willingness to stand behind our ranching families during this difficult time.

The fire may have burned the land, but together we can help rebuilds what generations have worked so hard to create.
